This weekend, Aurora is painting the town green with its Second Annual Sham-ROCK the Block Celebration. Come dressed in green and join in the festivities as the Daniel D. Dolan St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off on Sunday, March 17th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The parade route begins at the corner of Water Street and Downer Place, making its way west on Downer before ending at Downer and Stolp Avenue. Following the parade, gather in front of the G.A.R. Museum on Downer Place for the Irish Flag Raising Ceremony, led by the Dolan Family. After the ceremonial festivities, continue the celebration at the various restaurants and bars scattered throughout Downtown Aurora. Get ready to sham-ROCK the block this St. Patrick’s Day!
